The Staff of the Ministry of Digital Transformation was thrilled to participate in the Diego Martin North Secondary School 2023 Career Day on Monday 12th June 2023. At the event, T&T’s youth listened keenly as Ministry representatives highlighted the ever-expanding career possibilities in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
Hosted by the Ministry of Youth and National Service, the Career Day opened doors for the students to gain insights, discover pathways, and seize opportunities for the future world of work. The Ministry’s participation at the Career Day aimed to inspire and motivate the students while sharing their vision for a progressive and technologically advanced nation!
The Honourable Symon De Nobriga, Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, also graced the event with his presence and encouraged the students to embrace their potential and actively contribute to shaping Trinidad and Tobago’s digital landscape. With youth at the forefront of the mission to create a digital nation, they were urged to become the next generation of digital leaders.
The MDT takes great pride in igniting the passion of young minds; and demonstrating how they can play an active role in the country’s digital journey. Thank you to the students and administration for actively engaging with us.
