Minister Bacchus’ Leads Technical Mission on Strategic Visit to India

On August 3-11, 2023, a delegation of officials from the Ministry of Digital Transformation (MDT), inclusive of Senator the Honourable Hassel Bacchus, Minister of Digital Transformation who joined the delegation on August 6th, undertook a strategic visit to India with the purpose of advancing bilateral cooperation in the areas of Digital Transformation and Information and Communications Technology (ICT).

The Ministry of Digital Transformation wishes to thank its AccessTT staff, partners, and ICT campers who contributed to making this year’s ICT Vacation Camp a success. Over 220 persons, inclusive of pre-teenagers, teenagers, and senior citizens completed the camp at the Guayaguayare, Penal, Belmont, Marac, Carenage, Cumana, Lisas Gardens, and Todd’s Road ICT Access Centres.

15th ICT Access Centre opens in Cascade

Monday 21st August 2023 marked the official opening of the ICT Access Centre for the St. Anns, Hololo, Cascade community. This newest Centre forms part of an ongoing partnership between the Ministry of Sport and Community Development and the Ministry of Digital Transformation. The Cascade ICT Access Centre, which is located inside the Community Centre, is the 15th ICT Access Centre to open in an ICT-underserved area in Trinidad.

Preteens enjoy Augmented Reality at ICT Vacation Camp

Close to 80 preteens in various communities in Trinidad benefitted from a digital empowerment ICT Vacation Camp at ICT Access Centres during August 7-11, 2023!
